JoAnn Bosowski
Born and raised in Southern California,
JoAnn Bosowski’s passion for painting started in 2003. She began
painting portraits by reproducing many works by Sargent and Rembrandt.
Bosowski’s portraits are in a realist style emphasizing
the eyes where she strives to capture the model’s inner spirit and
character. Her goal is to create paintings of technical excellence that
also evoke an emotional response from the viewer.
Bosowski has studied with some of today’s most renowned
artists: Daniel E. Greene at his Connecticut studio, Jeremy Lipking at
the California Art Institute and Woodland Hills studio, Adrian Gottlieb
in his Atelier program, and with Aapo Pukk in Palos Verdes, California.
Bosowski has participated in numerous group and solo
shows, and her paintings hang in many private collection across the
United States.
She is a member of the International Guild of
Realism and the Portrait Society of America |
