Vadim Dolgov is a Canadian artist born in Russia, whose love for art began at a very young age. He graduated from Orenburg Academy of Art and Design, Russia, where he studied classical drawing, painting, and sculpture for five years. Since then, he has embarked on a successful professional career as an artist.

Dolgov has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Canada, the United States, and Europe. He has also participated in the Oil Painters of America National Juried Show, the Context Art Fair in Miami, and Art New York, among other prestigious exhibitions.

Dolgov’s talent has been recognized with several awards and honors. In 2020, he achieved OPA Signature Member Status, a highly sought-after distinction among artists. He also received the Award of Excellence at the OPA Eastern Regional show in 2013, the Gold Medal Award at the OPA Juried Salon Show & Plein Air Award in 2013, and the Award of Excellence at the Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibition in 2007.

Throughout his career, Dolgov’s art has been featured in international galleries and museums, such as the Carre D'Artistes Gallery in Paris and Bordeaux, France, and the International Guild of Realism’s traveling museum exhibition in the United States.

Dolgov’s work is characterized by his ability to capture the beauty and emotion of the human form, often using classical techniques and themes. His paintings showcase his mastery of light, color, and texture, creating a sense of depth and dimension that draws the viewer into the scene.
